How We The Citizens Challenge 2026 Works
Honour 60 years of the Singapore Pledge by completing a target of 60km through running or walking anywhere during the official race period. Go beyond 60km to show your commitment to Singapore!
Register for the Challenge
Sign up for the We The Citizens Challenge 2026, and walk, jog, or run at your own pace—anywhere in Singapore or abroad.
Track Your Distance Normally
- Use any fitness tracking app or device (Apple Watch, Garmin, Strava, Nike Run Club). Both outdoor activities and indoor workouts (e.g. treadmill runs) are accepted.
- Download for free from the App Store or Google Play.
- Track each walk or run — once your activity is synced or submitted, your distance is automatically added to your total in your profile.
No need to complete 60km in one go.
Example: 5km today + 3km tomorrow = 8km total.
Submit & Update Your Progress
Log into your HeyRace profile on your phone or computer when the race period starts. You’ll have two options:
The Auto Way (via Strava)
This option works only with Strava.
1. Record your workout in Strava (sync Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, Nike Run Club, etc.)
2. Go to Account → Connected Apps → Strava and click “Connect with Strava” (one-time setup)
3. Your activities will automatically sync to your profile

*If your activity is not in Strava, it will not sync.
The Manual Way
Take a screenshot of your workout from any app or device (Apple Watch, Garmin, Fitbit, etc.) and upload it to verify your distance.
💡 Recommended: Use Strava for automatic syncing and faster, hassle-free submissions.
Unlock Rewards & Milestones
As your distance adds up, watch your progress on the Virtual Milestone Achievement Map. All physical race entitlements are available on-demand using recycled materials to reduce waste and promote sustainability.

Unlock digital badges representing your achievements as you progress across the virtual map.
